1. Apply 1st round of a split application of pre-emergent herbicide to prevent warm season weeds.

  -   This prevents weeds before they start by creating a barrier beneath the soil that kills seedlings before they break through the turf canopy.

 2. Treat all existing weeds in lawns and landscapes with post-emergent herbicide.

January - February

March - April

  1. Apply 2nd round of a split application pre-emergent herbicide

  2. Treat all existing weeds in lawns and landscapes with post-emergent           herbicide.

  3. Apply a quick release fertilizer for immediate availability  to turf emerging from dormancy.

  1. Apply an insecticide to lawns which will eliminate grubs while they are in a juvenile stage and easy to destroy. 

  2. Treat all existing weeds in lawns and landscapes with post-emergent           herbicide.

  3. Apply a slow release fertilizer that will supply steady nutrition to turf throughout the summer months.

May - June

July-Aug

  1. Apply 1st round of a split application pre-emergent herbicide to prevent cool season weeds.

  2. Treat all existing weeds in lawns and landscapes with post-emergent           herbicide.

  3. Apply a quick release fertilizer high in potassium and micronutrients to promote good health and color and to begin preparing it for dormancy.

  4. Apply a broad-spectrum fungicide to protect the turf against late season patch diseases.

September - October

  1. Apply 2nd round of a split application of pre-emergent herbicide to prevent cool season weeds.

  2. Treat all existing weeds in lawns and landscapes with post-emergent herbicide.

  3. Apply a broad-spectrum fungicide to protect the turf against late season patch diseases.

  1. Treat all existing weeds in lawns and landscapes with post-emergent herbicide.

  2. Spot treat any existing brown patch with a broad-spectrum fungicide.
